I cannot believe it is already Halloween and almost time for Thanksgiving. This fall has been going crazy fast. We have been getting ready for Halloween in my house and bought pumpkins earlier this week to carve and decorate. A few nights ago we dressed the kids up to go trick or treating in the mall. It was really busy but the kids had a lot of fun. This weekend we plan on going to a Halloween party at one of our friend’s houses. On Monday we will go out and have trick or treating in our neighborhood.
My son has his party at school today. I know when I was a kid I loved dressing up at school for the party and getting to see all of my friends costumes. For some reason at my son’s school they don’t celebrate Halloween. They are instead having a fall themed party and can’t even wear their costumes. I understand that some families don’t celebrate Halloween, but I kind of feel that sad that he is not able to bring his costume to school.
Last week to get into the fall spirit, I decided to make some pumpkin bread. I think that Pumpkin bread is great for Halloween time and for Thanksgiving as well. I can remember that as a kid we always had pumpkin bread for breakfast on Thanksgiving mornings. I decided to combine my Pumpkin bread with Nutella because I really like the combination of the chocolate and pumpkin together.
This Nutella Pumpkin Bread is a delicious treat that is perfect for the fall. I really liked the chocolate and hazelnut flavors of the Nutella swirled in with the pumpkin bread. I swirled Nutella into the middle of the pumpkin bread and also on top of the pumpkin bread. The Nutella created a topping on top of the pumpkin bread which tasted really delicious.
I really loved this pumpkin bread and I plan on making it for the Halloween party this weekend and to serve on Thanksgiving as well. This is really the perfect fall breakfast or dessert. My kids loved the bread as well and kept asking for more. I hope you make this delicious pumpkin bread for your family and friends to enjoy!
