Strawberry Nutella Pull Apart Bread

Valentine’s Day is almost here! My husband and I don’t have a lot planned.  We like to go on dates throughout the year, so Valentine’s Day is not as much of a big deal.  Plus Valentine’s Day gets a lot harder when you have kids.  It is hard to find a sitter, because everyone wants to go out and has plans.  Usually we end up going out a few weeks later, which makes it more like an ordinary date than we are celebrating Valentine’s Day.
I do like to make desserts to help celebrate Valentine’s Day.  The first food that comes to mind when I think of Valentine’s Day is chocolate covered strawberries.  I love that combination of chocolate and strawberry together.  I decided to make a pull apart bread for Valentine’s Day and thought a chocolate strawberry flavor would be perfect.  I used Nutella and strawberries in my pull apart bread and added a glaze on top.
This Strawberry Nutella Pull Apart Bread is a fantastic dessert and is really easy to make.  I loved the combination of the Nutella and strawberries in the pull apart bread and the glaze on top added the perfect touch.  This would be a great Valentine’s Day dessert or the great addition to any party.  I made this for a family party and it was devoured and the family all loved it.  My favorite part is that there is no yeast involved.  This bread is easily made using refrigerated biscuits.  I hope you enjoy this delicious strawberry chocolate dessert.

  • Strawberry Nutella Pull Apart Bread

    • 1 package (8 count) refrigerated biscuits
    • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • Nutella
    • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    • 1/3 cup milk

    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Cut each biscuit in half horizontally so that you have 16 biscuit halves.
    3. In a small bowl mix together the strawberries and sugar.
    4. Lay out the biscuit halves on a cutting board.  Spread the Nutella on top of each biscuit half. Then spoon about 1 tablespoon of the strawberry mixture on top of the Nutella.
    5. Stack 8 biscuit halves on top of each other, turn sideways, and add to a greased loaf pan.  Make sure you put the filling side on the inside.  Do the same with the other 8 biscuit halves, turn sideways, and fill up the other side of the bread pan.  Again make sure the filling side is on the inside so there is no filling against the edge of the pan.  Spread out the biscuits so they fit across the pan.
    6. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the dough is cooked through.  Let the bread cool for about 10 minutes, then remove from the pan.
    7. To make the glaze, whisk the powdered sugar and milk together in a small bowl until they are combined.  Pour the glaze on top of the bread.
