Eggnog Mudslide

This refreshing drink was created using Sweet ‘N Low® as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. #donthesitaste
The holidays will be here before you know it.  I have my gift shopping almost done, I just need to go out and buy some stocking stuffers and a few more presents.  I did most of my shopping online this year, which was nice so I didn’t have to venture out to the stores.  Now I have to plan what foods I am going to make for our holiday celebrations.  I always like to make a holiday themed cocktail and I decided to make one this year using one of my favorite holiday drinks, eggnog.
I used Sweet’N Low® to sweeten up the drink instead of sugar. Sweet’N Low® is a zero calorie sweetener that helps you enjoy a sweet drink without all the extra calories.  By substituting Sweet’N Low® for sugar it helps you to reduce calories in drink recipes.  Plus it is diabetic friendly.  I love the fact that I can have a sweet drink without all the extra calories.
One of my favorite cocktails is a mudslide.  It is actually one of the first drinks that I had once I turned 21.  I thought that a mudslide would taste fantastic using eggnog instead of milk or cream.  This would be a great cocktail for the holidays.  This is also easy to make.  You can make enough for one cocktail or double or triple the recipe to make a batch.
This Eggnog Mudslide is the perfect cocktail for the holidays.  I used Sweet’N Low®  to lower the amount of calories in the drink while still getting the same sweet taste.  This means I don’t have to feel bad about having it with other food at holiday parties.
This mudslide tasted fantastic.  I really loved the combination of the vodka, Baileys, Kahlua, and Eggnog together.  It also tastes fantastic garnished with chocolate syrup. If you want to make this drink off season, just substitute milk or heavy cream for the eggnog.  I can’t wait to make this cocktail to serve at my holiday parties.  I hope you enjoy!

Eggnog Mudslide

  • 3 packets Sweet’N Low®

  • Chocolate syrup (optional garnish)

  1. Add the Vodka, Kahlua, Baileys, eggnog, Sweet’N Low®, and ice into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. If desired, drizzle chocolate syrup on the bottom of a martini or hurricane glass.  Then pour the mudslide into the glass.  If desired, drizzle more chocolate syrup on top.
