Crock Pot Butterscotch Apple Cider

Fall is in full swing here and the leaves are starting to change.  Along with that we have a lot of Halloween activities and Halloween parties coming up soon for the kids.  My 4 year old plans on being Buzz Lightyear for Halloween and my 1 year old is going to be Mickey Mouse.  I thought about having matching costumes for them, but I might just go with what I already have.
For the Halloween parties I always like to make some sort of seasonal drink that would be great for the kids or for the adults.  Since it is starting to get colder out a warmer drink is always nice.  I also like something that is easy to make as well.  Our friend made apple cider in the crock pot at one of the Halloween parties that we went to last year.  We are big fans of apple cider and I knew I needed to make my own version.  I made it easily in the slow cooker using store bought apple cider and I added in butterscotch ice cream topping and spices.
This Crock Pot Butterscotch Apple Cider is the perfect warm drink for fall or winter and is easily made in the slow cooker or crock pot.  OMG this cider was so good!! I can’t believe I used OMG, but it was just that good! If you love warm cider, you will definitely love this drink.  The butterscotch ice cream topping goes really great with the flavors of the apple cider and spices.  This combination makes a sweet and delicious hot apple cider drink.  This would be great served cold as well. It is easily made in the crock pot too.
This is the perfect drink to make for any fall or winter party or gatherings.  I will be making this for Halloween as well as to serve at Thanksgiving.  It also goes great with whipped cream on top.  I hope that you enjoy this delicious and easy drink.
