Crock Pot Berry Crisp

I love using my crock pot or slow cooker to make food, especially when we are having company over.  I really don’t use my crock pot enough and am always looking for new ways to use it.  I have always wanted to try making dessert in the crock pot and though it would be a great way to have a warm dessert ready when we are entertaining.

Earlier in the summer I had a bunch of fresh berries on hand, so I decided to use them to make a dessert in the crock pot.  I made a berry crisp using four different kinds of berries, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries.  I love how I could make this easily in the crock pot and then forgot about it until I was ready to eat it.  It was really great served with ice cream on top.
This Crock Pot Berry Crisp combines four delicious varieties of berries in an easy to make dessert.  This crisp was so delicious and was great served right from the crock pot. It tasted great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream right on top.  I love that I didn’t have to worry much about this dessert once it was cooking.  I think this would be a great dessert to make the next time I have guests over.  My whole family loved it and I hope yours does too!
