Garlic Cheddar Bacon Beer Bread

I have another recipe for you today that would be perfect for Father’s Day.  Father’s Day is only three weeks away and will be here before I know it.  I have to plan early because we are so busy around Father’s Day.  Our wedding anniversary is 4 days before Father’s Day, our son’s birthday is 2 days before, and his birthday party is the day before Father’s Day, leaving that week extremely busy.  Our son was actually born on Father’s Day and while there is nothing that can top that, I always try to make Father’s Day as special as I can for my husband.
One thing that my husband and I have in common is that we both are big food lovers.  I always like to make him something special for Father’s Day.  As I have stated previously, one of his favorite foods is bacon.  He also is a big lover of beer.  I decided to make him some beer bread that has bacon in it, knowing that he would love it.  You could use any beer in the recipe, but make sure to use something that you like.  As we are from Pennsylvania, Yuengling is my husband’s favorite beer, so I used it in making the beer bread.
This Garlic Cheddar Bacon Beer Bread was really easy to make and was delicious.  It tasted like garlic cheddar biscuits, but with bacon included.  The beer is a substitution for yeast, so you don’t have to worry about any yeast and it is easily made.  It tasted great with butter spread on it.  My husband loved the bread.  This would be great to make for Father’s Day or for any time.  I hope you enjoy it!
