Strawberry Margarita Dip

I can’t believe that it is April already, I am so glad that spring if finally here.  I love spring and really like that it hasn’t been as cold out lately.  Today is April Fool’s Day.  I have never been a big fan of pranks.  I think it is because I am too serious and so gullible that I always fall for the prank. Plus my parents were never big into pranks so we never really did anything for April Fools day growing up.  I am okay with silly little pranks but I really don’t like pranks that hurt others.  I actually forgot that today was April Fool’s Day until I started to see funny advertisements on Facebook.
I decided since spring is here and May will be here before we know it, to make a dessert dip with flavors that remind me of spring.  This dip is no joke! (See what I did, I thought that was a pretty good segway from April Fool’s Day to the dip).  I am a huge fan of dessert dips, so I was really excited to make one with spring flavors.  Strawberries always remind me of spring and since Cinco de Mayo is coming up in about a month, I decided to make a dessert dip with strawberry magarita flavor.  This dip is non-alcoholic, but you could always add some in if you wanted.
This Strawberry Margarita Dip was so fantastic and would be a great dip for spring and for Cinco de Mayo.  I could definitely imagine eating this dip at a party or while sipping on a margarita.  I loved the combination of lime and strawberry flavor in this creamy dip.  They went very well together and really taste like a strawberry margarita.  I used strawberry margarita mix to also give this dip some great flavor.  This dip was so good that I just started eating it with a spoon.  You could also use cinnamon pita chips, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or fruit for dipping.  This dip was amazing and I cannot wait to make it again, I hope you enjoy it!

**Note: You can substitute the lime zest with just 2-3 drops of Young Living Essential Oils Lime Essential Oil.
