I have another recipe using Girl Scout cookies for you today. This one is so incredibly easy that it can be made in a matter of minutes and only takes 2 ingredients. For this recipe I decided to use my favorite Girl Scout cookie, Tagalongs. The combination of chocolate and peanut butter is my favorite and the cookie tastes fantastic.
The weather here has been awful and I cannot wait for spring and summer. I am sick of winter already. I am jealous of all of you that live in warmer locations. I have told my husband that when we retire I want to move to Florida for the winter, so that I don’t have to deal with the cold or snow anymore. I could really do without all of it. I just want the sun and warm weather. I would move back to Pennsylvania for the summer though so I don’t have to deal with the extreme heat. Today it was a balmy 2 degrees here in Pennsylvania. With the wind chill it felt like negative 25 degrees. I am sick of being stuck indoors, I want to be able to go outside. However, you really can’t go outside when it feels like negative 25 degrees.
I decided to make one of my favorite summer treats to help me get over the winter blues. I love s’mores and they always remind me of summer and put a smile on my face. I decided to combine the Tagalong cookies with marshmallows to make a delicious chocolate peanut butter s’more. These can easily be made inside by broiling the marshmallows or heating them up in the microwave.
These Tagalong S’mores are a delicious treat that can be easily made in a matter of minutes. The only ingredients you need are Tagalongs and marshmallows. If it is not Girl Scout season you can make your own Tagalongs or you can use any chocolate peanut butter cookie. A roasted marshmallow is sandwiched between the two chocolate peanut butter cookies, resulting in a tasty treat.
I broiled the marshmallows for about a minute and a half, but you can also cook them over a fire, on the grill, or even in the microwave. I hope you try this fantastic chocolate, peanut butter, and marshmallow treat. I can’t wait to make them again!
