One of my biggest problems when it comes to trying to eat healthier is snacking. Once I start to snack, I don’t know when to stop. I need snacks during the day, but I rather eat something that is more healthy, so that I can make sure that I am not eating junk food all day long.
One of my favorite snacks is Muddy Buddies. The only problem is that they are not exactly healthy or the best of snacks. They are covered in chocolate and coated with powdered sugar. That is why I decided to make a healthier version of muddy buddies. These Skinny Muddy Buddies may not be totally healthy, but they are better than the original version and would make a great snack if you are trying to be health conscience.
These Skinny Banana Walnut Muddy Buddies are a great snack and I love that they are healthier than the original too. They are made using Wheat Chex cereal and walnuts. They are coated in enough white chocolate and powdered sugar to give them some sweetness and fat free and sugar free banana pudding mix is added to give them a great banana flavor. You could also add some banana chips as well. I really like the combination of the muddy buddies and the walnuts and the walnut and banana flavors together. This is an easy and great treat for when I am craving sweets but want to try to be healthier.
