Rudolph Cinnamon Rolls

One of my favorite days of the year is Christmas.  I love seeing all the presents under the tree on Christmas morning and love to see my family open their presents.  It is especially fun now that we have a 3 year old. He is so excited for Santa and I can’t wait to have him see all the presents left for him.

On Christmas mornings our routine is to stay at home and open presents together as a family.  Then I usually make breakfast for everyone.  Then we will look at our new gifts and make our way over to my in-laws house to open gifts.  Usually we open gifts with my family on Christmas eve.  While I like to make a nice breakfast for my family on Christmas morning, I like to make something quick.  The faster breakfast takes to make the more time I have to spend with my husband and sons and the quicker we can get over to my in-laws house.

Usually I make a quick breakfast that I made the night before so that I can just stick it in the oven.  This year I decided that I wanted to make something fun for my son.  We all love cinnamon rolls in my family, so I decided to make cinnamon rolls that looked like Rudolph.  I used refrigerated cinnamon rolls to make things easier, but you could use homemade cinnamon rolls or pre-made cinnamon rolls from the grocery store.

These Rudolph Cinnamon Rolls are such a fun idea for Christmas breakfast.  Plus they tasted really good with the addition of the bacon and cherry.  To make these you just add bacon antlers to the cinnamon roll, a cherry for a nose, and googly eyes.  This is such a fun breakfast and my son loved it.  He was so excited that it looked like Rudolph and as he was eating the bacon he kept telling me that he was eating Rudolph’s antlers.  I can’t wait to make these cinnamon buns again for my family on Christmas morning.
