This delicious and easy Chicken Pepperoni Parmesan Panini made with Hormel Pepperoni is the perfect hot sandwich for a cold winter day.
The weather has been really cold outside, and it even has been snowing the last couple of days.  When it is really cold outside I like hot food for lunch and dinner that will help to warm me up.  There is nothing better than a hot sandwich on a cold winter day because they are good comfort food, they are hot, and they go well with a nice bowl of soup.
One of my favorite hot sandwiches is a panini.  We bought a panini maker last year and I really haven’t used it as much as I would have liked.  I love how easy paninis are to make and they taste fantastic too.  One cold day last week, I decided that I needed to use my panini maker and decided to make a delicious panini incorporating one of my favorite meals, chicken parmesan.  I decided that it would be great to add pepperoni to the panini as well.  I thought the pepperoni would go great with the chicken parmesan and would add some flavor and heat to the sandwich.
I went to the store and picked up the ingredients I needed for the panini and decided that we would be making the paninis for an easy dinner. I first grabbed my favorite pepperoni, Original Hormel Pepperoni.  I also picked up some pre-cooked grilled chickens strips, to make my sandwich easier.  I then also grabbed some marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and sourdough bread.
The Chicken Pepperoni Parmesan Panini tasted great and was the perfect comfort food for a cold day.  These paninis were so simple to make.  All you have to do is assemble the sandwich, then cook in the panini maker for 3-5 minutes and bam, you have a fantastic, delicious sandwich all ready for you.  These are great for an easy dinner or lunch and would be great served with soup.
I really loved how the chicken parmesan tasted in the panini and I loved the addition of the Original Hormel Pepperoni to the chicken parmesan.  We love pepperoni in my house, and thought that they added just a little heat and great flavor to the panini.  I couldn’t stop eating the pepperoni as I was assembling the paninis.  I think that pepperoni and chicken parmesan go fantastic together and I plan on adding some pepperoni the next time I make chicken parmesan.  They are fantastic together in this sandwich and is the perfect way to warm up on a cold day.
