Ingredients
- 3-5 apples (depending on size), washed and dried
- 3-5 sticks
- 1 bag (11 ounces) caramels, unwrapped and melted
- 1 bag (10.5 ounces) mini marshmallows
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips, melted
- 1 cup graham crackers, crushed
Instructions
- Insert a popsicle stick into the stem end of each apple.
- Cover a large plate or a cookie sheet with wax paper. Spray the wax paper with cooking spray and set aside.
- Melt the caramels according to the directions on the package. Then dip the apples into the melted caramel until they are evenly coated. Spoon caramel over the top to cover the top of the apples. Then place the apples on the plate. Refrigerate the apples for an hour or place in the freezer for about 10 minutes or until the caramel is dried.
- Once the caramel is hardened, melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted. Dip the apples into the marshmallow and then place on the plate. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes or until set.
- Once the marshmallow is set on the apple, put the crushed graham crackers in a small bowl. Then melt the milk chocolate chips according to the package directions. Dip the apple in the melted chocolate. Then move the apple over to the bowl with the graham crackers and cover the chocolate with the crushed graham crackers. Put back on the plate and refrigerate until the chocolate is hardened.
