Fluffernutter Cheese Ball

Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you are all having a great day today. I had a great day spending time with my son and my husband.  Next year it will be great to spend time as a family of four, once our second son is born in September.  I have a great treat for you today.  One of my favorite dessert appetizers are cheese balls.  They are not that hard to make, plus they look fantastic, and taste even better.  I decided to make this cheese ball with one of my favorite childhood flavors, fluffernutter.
The flavor combination of peanut butter and marshmallow was always a favorite when I was a kid and my son loves it too. He always loves to eat fluffernutter sandwiches.  Why does that combination have to be just for kids though?  I decided to combine the flavors of peanut butter and marshmallow into a delicious dessert cheese ball.
 This Fluffernutter Cheese Ball is a delicious and sweet dessert appetizer.  This would make a great appetizer for any occasion or party.  I love making dessert appetizers when I am having a party or to bring for a party.  They are usually devoured.  Everyone loved this delicious cheese ball.
I  really loved the combination of the peanut butter and marshmallow fluff in the cheese ball.  Also this cheese ball was covered with peanut butter chips and mini marshmallows on top. I served the cheese ball with vanilla wafers, but it would also be great served with graham crackers or fruit.  I think it would be especially delicious with apples.  I hope that you try this delicious cheese ball.  We can’t wait to make it again!

Fluffernutter Cheese Ball

Fluffernutter Cheese Ball


  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 3/4 cup mini marshmallows
  • Vanilla wafers, graham crackers, or fruit for dipping


  1. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, and marshmallow fluff until combined.
  2. Place the mixture on a large piece of plastic wrap. Bring up all the corners of the plastic wrap and wrap into a ball. Freeze the ball for about 1 1/2 hours or until it is firm enough to keep its shape.
  3. Mix the peanut butter chips and mini marshmallows together on a flat plate. Then roll the unwrapped cheese ball in the peanut butter chips and mini marshmallows. Make sure to press the chips and marshmallows into the cheese ball until it is fully covered.
  4. Place the ball on a serving dish, cover with plastic wrap and freeze the cheese ball for another 2 hours or overnight. If frozen overnight, thaw for 20-30 minutes before serving. Serve with Vanilla Wafers, graham crackers, fruit, or other cookies.
