Parmesan Ranch Crusted Pierogies

Every few months we like to get together with our friends from college.  We all live in separate locations, with us located in the middle so everyone meets at our house to hang out, catch up, and have a game night.  We always prepare a lot of food and appetizers when everyone comes over to hang out.
We all went to college about an hour from Pittsburgh.  Pierogies are really big in Pittsburgh, and I actually had my first pierogie when I was in college.  Because pierogies remind me of college, I always like to serve them when our friends come over.  I always buy Mrs. T’s Pierogies because they are so easy to make, taste great, and are a great addition to any party or get together with friends.
Mrs. T’s Pierogies make great appetizers, side dishes, and main dishes. I always keep a few boxes in my freezer for when we have people over.  Mrs. T’s Pierogies are available in 11 varieties, including whole grain and mini-size.  We bought the Potato and Cheddar Pierogies and Potato, Spinach, and Feta Pierogies to serve at our party.
I decided that it would be great to add something to our pierogies for our get together.  I never realized how many things can be done with pierogies.  The Mrs. T’s website has so many great recipes and ideas.  We decided to use the Potato and Cheddar Pierogies to make a great appetizer, Parmesan Ranch Crusted Pierogies.  We used parmesan cheese and dry ranch dressing mix to coat the pierogies before baking. This added great flavor to the pierogies.  We then served the delicious pierogies with ranch dressing.
The Parmesan Ranch Crusted Pierogies were fantastic.  They really tasted good with Mrs. T’s Potato and Cheddar Pierogies.  I loved the flavor that the parmesan and ranch give to the pierogies and those flavors taste great with the potatoes.   All my friends loved the pierogies and we all agreed they tasted fantastic with the ranch and parmesan flavors.  Pierogies are a great appetizer at any party or get-together and Mrs. T’s makes them so easy to make. Parmesan Ranch Crusted Pierogies

Parmesan Ranch Crusted Pierogies


  • 1 box Mrs. T's Pierogies (I used Mrs. T's Potato and Cheddar Pierogies)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Add the ranch seasoning and Parmesan cheese into a large plastic bag and mix together.
  3. Brush the melted butter over the frozen pierogies. Then quickly add them into the plastic bag and coat with the ranch parmesan mixture.
  4. Lay the pierogies on a greased cookie sheet. Cook for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.
  5. Serve with ranch dressing.
