Easy Peppermint Fudge

This Easy Peppermint Fudge is a delicious and easy fudge that is made with only 3 ingredients.
We have been getting all ready for the holidays.  We put up our tree a few days ago and we made a gingerbread train with our son.  I have so much fun around the holidays.  My favorite part is baking and making goodies as gifts.  I always love to make fudge but sometimes it can be time consuming.  I got really excited when I realized that fudge can be made easily using only two ingredients.  This is a great time saver especially when I am rushing around to get all my gifts ready for the holidays.
I decided to make an Easy Peppermint Fudge.  This fudge is so easy and can be made in a matter of minutes.  It then just needs to be refrigerated for about 30 minutes so that it can set.  It contains only three ingredients, white chocolate, peppermint frosting, and crushed candy canes.  If you cannot find peppermint frosting, just add some peppermint extract to regular frosting to create a peppermint frosting.  This fudge could not get any easier.
This Peppermint Fudge was so delicious.  The combination of the white chocolate and frosting gave it a smooth delicious taste.  The crushed candy canes in the fudge and on top gave a nice peppermint crunch in each bite.  The fudge also stayed good in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks and was still just as good.  I will definitely be making more of this easy and delicious fudge to give out as gifts for Christmas.  I hope you enjoy!

Easy Peppermint Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (12 ounces) white chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 can (16 ounces) peppermint frosting
  • 1/4 cup crushed candy canes (about 3 candy canes, crushed)
  • 2 additional candy cane, crushed (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Melt the white chocolate chips in a medium sized bowl according to the package directions.
  2. Once the chocolate chips are melted, stir in the peppermint frosting until combined. Then gently stir in the crushed pieces from the 3 candy canes.
  3. Spread the fudge in a greased 8x8 pan. If desired, sprinkle the additional candy cane pieces on top of the fudge. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set. Cut into pieces to serve. Store fudge in the refrigerator.

Notes

If you cannot find Peppermint frosting, add 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract to vanilla frosting to create your own peppermint frosting.
