Mango Bellini Mocktail and Juice “Happy Hour”

When I was contacted to host a “Happy Hour” party to try some of Bolthouse Farms juices I was really excited.  I always love having parties.  I had a juice tasting party at my house last week to taste some of Bolthouse Farms juices.  My in-laws and brother-in law came over and were there with me, my son, and my husband.  Even though it was November, the sun was shining outside, so we decided to go outside and hang out, while my son ran around.
I thought that this was a great little get-together as it gave us all a chance to hang out and catch up.  At the “Happy Hour” party we tried flights of the Bolthouse Farms juice and I served Mango Bellini Mocktails made using the Bolthouse Farms Amazing Mango juice.
Bolthouse Farms products are juiced by carrot farmers.   They’ve combined 95 years of farming expertise with creativity and innovation. The results: high-quality products made with as much of fresh thinking as fresh ingredients. Bolthouse Farms are inspiring the Fresh Revolution to change the way people think about and use fresh fruits and veggies! Bolthouse Farms features over 30 beverages, ranging from carrot juice and carrot juice blends, to breakfast smoothies and protein shakes, and even seasonal holiday treats!
I was not sure if I would have my son try the juices as we are not big on giving him juice due to all the sugar.  I really liked how the Bolthouse Farms juices and smoothies had a lot of fruit or vegetables in them and the larger bottles had 8 servings of fruit in each one.  I gave Aaron the 100% Carrot juice to try.  The only ingredient listed on the side of the bottle is carrot juice.  To say that my son like the juice is an understatement, he kept asking for more and he gulped it down.  As a mom, I felt good about him having a juice that was made from only carrots without any additives.  My son tried a few of the different juices, but by far his favorite was the 100% Carrot Juice.
I served a flight of Bolthouse Farms juice for everyone to try.  Everyone tried the following flavors: Amazing Mango, Strawberry Banana, Berry Boost, 100% Carrot, and Blue Goodness.  We also had the Orange + Carrot, Berries + Carrot, 100% Pomegranate, Green Goodess, and Mocha Cappuccino.  It was so fun to try all the different types of juices.  Out of the carrot juices, I think everyone liked the Carrot + Orange and the Carrot + Berries. I like the Carrot + Berries the best out of the carrot juices.  Of the other beverages we tried, my husband really liked the Green Goodness and Mocha Cappuccino. Overall I think everyone liked all the juices and beverages.
Tbe biggest hit of the day was the Strawberry Banana smoothie.  We are all big strawberry banana fans, especially my in-laws.  I really like how the bottle I purchased had 40 strawberries and 2 1/2 bananas in each bottle.  My favorites were the Strawberry Banana and Amazing Mango.  I love all the varieties though.  I know I will be buying the 100% Carrot Juice again for my son.  Plus, I feel good about giving it to him because it gives him a source of vegetables that he may not eat otherwise.
I also decided to make Mango Bellini Mocktails for the party using the Bolthouse Farms Amazing Mango smoothie juice.  Everyone thought that they tasted great.  I know as a kid at the holidays my parents would always make us a special drink.  With the holidays coming up, I really like giving my son a special drink at Thanksgiving or during a holiday party. These mocktails had a great mango taste and would be great for any special occasion or just because.  I also like that they have the Amazing Mango smoothie in them, which is loaded with a lot of fruits.
