Bacon Cheddar Ranch Pinwheels

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Mom It Forward and the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association.

One of my favorite times of year is around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.  I love the decorations and getting together with family and friends.  It is always fun to have a holiday party and get together with everyone.  The only thing I don’t like about throwing holiday parties is all the work.  Inevitably, I spend more time in the kitchen than I do with my guests.  This is not the way to throw a holiday party and I always strive to make the party prep as easy as possible so that I can spend most of my time with my guests.
I am working with the National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association to give some great tips for holiday party planning.  Using frozen and refrigerated foods to make appetizers and other great foods for your holiday party will help save time and make holiday party planning less stressful.
Frozen foods contain real and fresh ingredients that help you to meet your life needs.  The freezer aisle comprises 3,700+ different, delicious foods ranging from fruits and vegetables to ice cream and appetizers.  The refrigerated dairy aisle is where I find the items that I use everyday.  Refrigerated foods are made from real, simple, fresh, farm-grown ingredients and can be customized to fit within a well-balanced lifestyle. With a variety of foods and beverages, the refrigerated dairy aisle is home to endless mealtime possibilities.
Here are some great tips for holiday party planning:
1.  Prepare as much as you can the night before so that you don’t have to do much on the day of the party.
2.  Use ready-made frozen or refrigerated appetizers so that all you have to do is pop them in the oven right before the party.
3.  Use frozen or refrigerated products that are timesavers or shortcuts to make great party food.  For example use frozen puff pastry sheets, or refrigerated dough or refrigerated cookies.
4.  Make the holiday party pot-luck so that everyone brings something.  This way you are preparing less food and have less work to do.
These Bacon Cheddar Ranch Pinwheels are really easy to make and would be great for an appetizer at any party.  They are made using frozen puff pastry sheets.  From the refrigerated dairy aisle, I included cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese.  All that is required is to mix the ingredients together, spread it out on the puff pastry sheet, and then cook.  These can even be made the night before and then popped in the oven on the next day.
Bacon, Cheddar, and Ranch are one of my favorite flavor combinations.  These pinwheels do not disappoint, my whole family loved them.  I really liked the flaky outside that comes from using the puff pastry sheets.  These pinwheels are an easy appetizer that would be great for any holiday get together.
