White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M Blondies

These White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M Blondies are a tasty Halloween treat that would be great for any party.
 

I think that one of the candies that I think most about when I think about Halloween is candy corn.  I am not sure why I associate Candy Corn with Halloween, because I do not even like candy corn too much, I think its really sweet.  If I am going to buy candy corn it is going to be the kind with the chocolate at the end.  Last year I saw that m&m’s came out with a candy corn flavor.  This intrigued me, would it really taste like candy corn? I like m&m’s, but I wasn’t sure.  Unfortunately, I couldn’t find them in my stores last year but was able to find them when the Halloween candy came out this year.
I actually really liked the White Chocolate Candy Corn m&m’s.  I don’t think they taste like candy corn, but they are sweet like candy corn is.  I like how they are in the candy corn colors that makes them festive for Halloween.  Actually once I opened the bag, I couldn’t stop eating them.  I decided to make Blondies using the Candy Corn m&m’s.  I thought they would be great in blondies and would be festive for Halloween.
These White Chocolate Candy Corn m&m  Blondies tasted fantastic.  I loved the flavor of the Candy Corn m&m’s with the white chocolate and combined in a blondie.   These are a great Halloween treat or can be made anytime of the year with a different flavor of m&m’s.  The Candy Corn m&m’s did make these really sweet, but they were still fantastic, I just recommend smaller pieces to start with so you don’t have a sugar overload! I cannot wait to make these blondies for the upcoming Halloween parties!

 



White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M Blondies

White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M Blondies

Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M's

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium sized bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  3. In a separate large bowl beat together the butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Then slowly beat in the flour mixture until all combined. Then stir in the white chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M's.
  4. Spread the batter evenly in a greased 9x13 pan. Then place the remaining 1/4 cup of White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M's on top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Makes 12 larger bars, but they can be cut into smaller pieces. Store in an airtight container.

I have printed this recipe and it’s going in the sacred binder. Obviously I will be using a variety of seasonal M&Ms. These blondes won rave reviews from everyone who sampled. Young and old.
