Pumpkin Kissed Brownie Bites

These easy and delicious Pumpkin Kissed Brownie Bites have a taste of pumpkin and brownie in every bite.

With Halloween coming up the stores are filled with all sorts of seasonal or Halloween candy.  I always get really excited when I see my favorite seasonal candies come out and couldn’t believe that they were out in the store in August.  August seems awfully early for Halloween candy.  Now that it is October I feel that I can start using the seasonal candy.
One of my favorite fall seasonal candies is the Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kisses.  I always love to see what new candies Hershey can come up with.  Also I was really excited when I realized the Hershey store, which we live near, has started carrying some of the great seasonal Hershey Kisses year round. Last year I made Pumpkin Pie Muddy Buddies with the Pumpkin Kisses and this year I decided to make these Pumpkin Kissed Brownie Bites.
These Pumpkin Kissed Pumpkin Bites are really delicious and so easy to make. I used boxed brownie mix and baked the brownies in a mini cupcake tin.  Then when they were still hot, I stuck the Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kisses on top.
These brownie bites were so delicious and chocolately and when you take a bite you get a great pumpkin flavor that combines great with the brownie. I also like how the Hershey Kiss gets a little melted, so it is like having melted pumpkin chocolate flavor in every bite.  They were so easy to make as well and only take a few ingredients. They would be great for any Halloween party or for a delicious treat.  I hope you enjoy them!

Pumpkin Kissed Brownie Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 box (18.3 ounces) of brownie mix + ingredients on the back of the box
  • Mini cupcake liners
  • 1 bag (10 ounces) Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kisses

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix the brownie batter according to the directions on the box.
  3. Place the mini cupcake liners into the mini cupcake tin. Grease the lines so that the brownies do not stick.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the mini cupcake lines, filling them about 2/3 of the way.
  5. Bake the brownies for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool the brownies for 5 minutes, then gently press a Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kiss into the center of each brownie bite. Once cooled remove the brownies from the cupcake tin and store in an airtight container. Makes about 3 dozen brownie bites.

Notes

I used a Family Sized box of brownies that fit in the 13x9 pan. You can use a smaller box and it would make less brownie bites.

I suggest not moving the brownie bites out of the cupcake pan until they are cool. Otherwise the Hershey Kisses may melt and lose their shape.

Just made these — and I had trouble with them sticking. I guess I have to really spray the liners more than I did!! But what I could eat were so yum!! Worth trying again with more Pam spray!!!
