Apple Cheesecake Dip with Pie Crust Dippers

This Apple Cheesecake Dip served with flaky Pie Crust Dippers is perfect for fall.  This is a great dip for watching football or for any party.

When I think of fall I first think of apples and everything associated with apples.  The second thing I think of when I think of fall is football.  We are big football fans and are so glad that football is starting this week.  We are getting excited to watch a full day of football on Sunday.  We love making different dips to eat while watching a football game and I especially love dessert dips.  I decided to combine the great taste of fall with a great dessert dip and created an Apple Cheesecake Dip.
This delicious and easy apple dip would be great to eat while watching a football game or would be a great appetizer to serve at any party.  It also is a great treat for fall or would be great for any time of the year.  I loved the combination of the apple and cheesecake flavors in this dip.  This dip was creamy and I really loved all the apple and cinnamon flavor in it.  I really liked this dip and will definitely make it again.
I made Pie Crust Dippers to go with the Apple Cheesecake Dip.  Everyone knows that crust and apples go together perfectly, so I thought that pie crust dippers would be great with the apple dip and they were. I really liked the flaky taste of the pie crust dippers and they went perfectly with the apple dip.  If you don’t want to make the pie crust dippers, then you can also serve this great dip with cinnamon pita chips, graham crackers, fruit, or pretzels.

Apple Cheesecake Dip

Apple Cheesecake Dip

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 ounces) Cool Whip
  • 1 can (21 ounces) apple pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  1. Mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar together.
  2. Chop up the apples contained in the apple pie filling into smaller pieces. Then gradually stir in the Cool Whip, apple pie filling, and cinnamon until combined.
  3. Chill before serving. Serve with Pie Crust Dippers, cinnamon pita chips, graham crackers, fruit, or pretzels.

Pie Crust Dippers

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust, from a pack of two pie crusts
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Unroll the pie crust. Using a pizza slicer or a knife cut the pie crust into strips that are about 1 inch wide and 4-6 inches long. Place the pie crust strips on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Brush the pie crust strips with the melted butter. Combine the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top of the pie crust dippers.
  4. Bake the pie crust dippers for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
