Peach Bundt Cake

I love all the fresh fruit that comes with summer.  One of those fruits is peaches.  I was really surprised this winter when I had a craving for peaches and could not find them in the grocery store.  Usually our grocery stores havefruits that are not in season just at a higher price.  I went to three different grocery stores and could not find peaches at all, so I was glad when summer was finally here and I could get some peaches.
Because I now have access to peaches, I decided to make a delicious peach bundt cake.  The bundt cake is flavored using peach jello and contains peaches inside as well.  I used white peaches, but you can also use regular peaches as well.  The peaches all sank to the bottom when cooking, so all the peaches were at the top of the bundt cake.  I thought it looked really pretty to see all the peaches on the top.  If you want to prevent the fruit from sinking you can lightly toss the peaches in some flour to try to prevent sinking.
This bundt cake was delicious and I loved the fresh and fruity peach flavor.  The taste reminded me of summer.  I also love the pieces of peaches in the cake.  This Peach Bundt Cake is also easy to make and is made using a boxed cake mix.  I used pre-made frosting, with added peach jello flavor, to decorate the bundt cake.  We loved this delicious cake and I can’t wait to make it again.  I hope you enjoy this delicious cake!
Peach Bundt Cake

Peach Bundt Cake

  • 1 box (15.25 ounces) white cake mix + ingredients on box
  • 2 boxes (3 ounces each) Peach Jello, dry
  • 1 cup peaches, chopped
  • 1 container white frosting

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Make the cake batter according to the directions on the box. Mix 1 box of Peach Jello and 3 tablespoons from the 2nd box into the cake batter until combined. Reserve the rest of the jello. Then stir in the chopped peaches until combined. (Lightly toss the peaches with flour before stirring into the batter, if you want to prevent the peaches from sinking). Pour the batter into a greased bundt pan.
  3. Bake the cake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool for 20 minutes then invert the cake onto a plate and allow to completely cool.
  4. Once the cake is completely cooled, frost the bundt cake. Stir the remaining peach jello into the frosting container. Microwave the frosting for 15 seconds or until a little bit melted. Spoon the frosting into a small ziploc bag and cut the corner off with scissors. Then drizzle the frosting onto the bundt cake.
