Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Mug Cake

Every night I like to have some dessert, but if I make a whole cake or a lot of dessert I will be more tempted to eat more.  I always love having individual servings, because it makes it so that I won’t eat as much.
This mug cake is so easy to make, it can be made in a matter of minutes.  Plus the mug cake is really good and tastes like chocolate chip cookie dough.  My favorite part of the mug cake is that if I feel like dessert and don’t have anything in the house, I can make this really quick without making a whole cake. I think I need to make another one!
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Mug Cake
(Recipe adapted from Babble)

1 egg
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 tablespoon butter, softened
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Whipped cream (optional)
1 teaspoon mini chocolate chips (optional topping)
1.  Add all ingredients except the whipped cream and extra mini chocolate chips into a mug and stir together until combined.
2.  Microwave the cake for 1 1/2 minutes or until the top center of the cake has set.  If desired, serve with whipped cream and the teaspoon of mini chocolate chips on top.
